The purple crusader is back in Phantom 2040 – a brilliantly animated futuristic version of the popular Lee Falk comic strip that’s been entertaining Phantom fans for over half a century. Unlike the Phantom of yesteryear – a classic warrior in the African jungle- this Phantom’s battle is to save the Earth from environmental disaster by stopping the growth of Cyberville, pet project of the evil corporate overload Maximum, Inc. The series resolves around 18-year old biology student Kit Walker Jr., who suddenly learns that he must fulfil a family destiny in an unbroken father-to-son line by becoming the 24th Phantom. He’s confused, un-ready and untested, but no matter what foe he must face – human, machine, or some bizarre combo of both – Kit will not turn his back on history to fight for right in a society where human values have been completely lost. From adventures in cyberspace to virtual reality, Phantom 2040 is armed with futuristic action and fun!
