Only Bob Kane, the creator of Batman, could dream up the weird array of villains that try to befuddle the most debonair detective ever to slip on a trench coat – Cool McCool. Together with his sidekick, Breezy, his dad. Harry, and the Komedy Kops, Cool McCool foils the dastardly deed of such wacky criminals as the Rattler and Hurricane Harry in an outrageous assortment of cartoon adventures bursting with cloak-and-dagger lunacy. McCool and company always provide plenty of good-natured high-tech hijinks: a duel of ultra cool machinery as McCool races his Coolmobile against the Rattler’s Fangmobile, a hilarious hunt for an old lady’s missing “Puppy wuppy”, and a madcap mix-up between look-alikes Hurricane Harry and the Maharaja of Mish Mash.
There’s no short supply of kooky cases, including McCool’s match of wits against Jack-In-the-Box who hijacks an armoured car and the search for a mysterious ancient idol. Yet McCool always demonstrates his superior brainpower against such evildoers as Dr. Madcap who steals the precious Pearl of Punjab. The Owl who has gotten his talons on the super-secret Formula G-22, and Hurricane Harry who threatens to literally blow up the world – until it pops like a balloon. Through every case, McCool knows exactly how to uncover lots of laughs.
