Back with Wavery Productions, the rights of the original Tarzan! The personage is created by Mr Edgar Rice Burroughs. He appeared for the first time in the novel ‘Tarzan of the Apes’ in 1914. Tarzan is the son of English parents who were marooned in Africa. When Tarzan was one year old, his parents died and he was adopted and raised by Kala, his ape mother. Tarzan (white skin) is his ape name. His year-long life in the jungle gave him special skills. Human skills are learned on a later age. As a young adult, Tarzan meets a young American woman, Jane. She travels together with her father and Jane and Tarzan fall in love and he even follows her to the United States of America.
